Eola Ridge Riparian Planting
February 11, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pmFree
Join Friends of Trees, the City of Salem, and the Polk County Soil & Water Conservation District in the second of two community planting events to be held this planting season at the recently upgraded Eola Ridge Park. We will be planting native trees and shrubs in the riparian areas of the park during this second event. This event is one of many events in support of the Year of the Tree campaign, celebrating Salem’s 40th year as a Tree City USA.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffe
